Managing Partner

Eric F. Dankesreiter

Eric is known for his depth of experience, responsiveness, and hard work. Eric attributes his “roll-up-your-sleeves” work ethic to his family. He grew up working in his father’s mechanic shop and was taught to do things right the first time. “Put out some effort” and “get a bigger hammer” were phrases often used.

Eric has maintained that same dedication to his work today. Regardless of the nature of the case, Eric's approach to litigation is to be aggressive, yet cost-effective. He uses discovery and motions in an effective and efficient fashion to achieve specific results for his clients, rather than for the sake of the process itself.

While working on any matter, Eric makes every effort to keep clients informed and to explain legal matters in a clear, straightforward way.

Eric F. Dankesreiter is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He represents clients in a wide range of practice areas, including:

  • Business and Commercial Litigation

  • Partnership Disputes (including breaches of fiduciary duty)

  • Will, Trust, and Probate Litigation

  • Construction Law

  • Collections (including judicial and non-judicial foreclosures)

  • Real Estate Litigation

  • Commercial Landlord-Tenant Disputes

  • Divorce (especially involving finances and asset division)

Eric has comprehensive litigation and business experience. He has litigated and resolved cases of all size and complexity, both for plaintiffs and defendants in federal and state courts, as well as bankruptcy courts. Eric has the ability to get your case successfully resolved. Eric also encourages litigation prevention by advising clients on how to avoid legal pitfalls.

  • Developers, home builders, engineers, subcontractors, and home owners of commercial and residential properties involved in construction defect cases.

  • A commercial retail shopping center owner in connection with a dispute over an easement with the adjoining property. The resulting jury trial ended in a verdict of over one million dollars for our client.

  • A home builder involved in a dispute with the homeowner, where the homeowner disputed an interpretation of the contract and asserted that work was not performed in a good and workmanlike manner. The resulting jury trial ended in a verdict for our client.

  • A dispute involving the beneficiary of a four million dollar trust, specifically involving the use and ownership of the trust funds. Claims were made for breach of fiduciary duty and fraud. We helped our client receive a distribution of funds and reimbursement of attorneys' fees.
